Ribbon Falls

Yosemite National Park

At 1600 ft, Ribbon Falls, only seen from the west side of El Capitan, is the highest single drop falls in North America. There's no signage and no real trail, but cairns mark a rough, nearly 3-mile long path with around 1100 ft elevation gain to the base of the falls. Look to park at the first turnout past El Capitan on Northside Dr.
