Overview

After two incredible days in Melbourne, it’s time to leave the city behind. Check out of your hotel this morning and pick up your rental car. Once you’re behind the wheel, set off on your scenic road trip and leave the bustle of the city behind. Along the way, you’ll witness spectacular, changing scenery, from lush fields to the trademark vineyards that define this land. The journey at its most direct can be completed in just about an hour and a half, though it’s worth taking your time. From the road, you’ll have the chance to pause at boutique wineries for award-winning Pinot Noir and take garden strolls through the sprawling vineyards. You'll also notice local farms, so you can pick up road trip snacks in the form of delicious produce. From cheese to strawberries, you’ll have your pick of the lot, while plenty of charming cafés likewise appear along the way, giving you plenty of reasons to pull over and step outside. Eventually, you’ll arrive in Fingal, where you’ll check in to the Peninsula Hot Springs (or similar). Tonight, you’ll have the chance to partake in one of the daily signature wellness experiences, each of which is designed to elevate your stay and enhance your hot spring journey. You’ll also have access to the baths and reserved amphitheater pool, so get ready to relax and recharge — Victoria style. (Breakfast)

Highlights

Mornington Peninsula Road Trip

Today’s scenic road trip will reveal another side of Victoria. During the morning's sightseeing drive, you’ll cruise past rolling farmlands, lush vineyards, and quaint country towns. As you near the peninsula, the air will take on a salty tang, while Port Phillip Bay peeks through the trees. You may be headed for a wellness escape among the area's hot springs, but it's today's drive that will set the tone for your relaxed and picturesque getaway.

Peninsula Hot Springs (or similar)

Get ready for all things wellness. Once you arrive at your hot springs hotel, you can choose between a number of daily rejuvenating treatments offered by the property. Options include a fire and ice workshop, inspired by the ancient practice of hot-cold therapy, as well as a body clay ritual and a movement class. Here, wellness is at your fingertips; you’re on vacation, after all.
