After two days absorbing Vietnam's cosmopolitan energy, get ready to lay your eyes on some of the country's — and Southeast Asia’s — most incredible views. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Hanoi before meeting your driver for a roughly three-hour drive to the legendary UNESCO World Heritage landscapes of Hạ Long Bay. Instead of joining the cruising masses, however, you’ll make your way to a more isolated part of the bay, Lan Ha Bay, where far fewer people and boats visit. The day is entirely yours to soak in the spectacular scenery as your boat cruises the turquoise waters. Sunset will surely be a highlight, as it paints the towering karst limestone formations with a golden glow that even a screensaver can’t capture. You’ll have time to step off the boat, too, with a kayaking adventure into a spectacular sea cave. As for your accommodations?
