The house where the great poet and playwright Federico García Lorca spent summers and wrote some of his best-known works retains the evocative aura of an early 20th-century country villa, yet sits amid the modern Parque Federico García Lorca only 1.5km west of the centre. Visits are by 30-minute guided tour, in Spanish or English.
