Cascada Blanca

Surrounded by forest, this impressive 15m waterfall a short walk from the highway fills a large deep swimming hole. When it's quiet it's absolutely lovely but it loses its appeal when it gets rammed with sightseers; come early. A path leads behind the falls to the cave on the other side. There are also around 2km of trails through coffee, banana and cacao plantations along the river that pass several other swimming holes.
