On the south side above the main doorway you'll see a lovely stucco frieze of the Descending God, also referred to as the Diving God. The upside-down, part-human figure, which appears at the Cobá site as well, may be a representation of a bee sipping nectar from a flower. The Maya, who are skilled apiarists, consider bees to be sacred.
Part of the Tulum Ruins.
