New Scents, Tastes, and Sights, From Èze to Monaco

Overview

After breakfast this morning, a local expert guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. They’ll take you to your next destination: the medieval village of Èze. You may have visited Èze yesterday if you opted for a visit to Anjuna Beach, but either way, you’re bound for an entirely new experience. That’s because you’re about to embark on a guided visit to three towns in the South of France that will employ all of your senses — starting with smell. This morning, you’ll stop by the Fragonard Perfume Factory, where you can sniff, try, and buy a variety of perfumes. When you’re happy with how you smell, you’ll switch gears and continue on your journey to the hills above Nice. There, you’ll enjoy a local olive oil tasting with an expert at a traditional farm. Afterward, your driver will take you to Monaco, where your local guide will introduce you to new discoveries. Once you’ve fully experienced this trio of activities, your guide and driver will drop you off at your hotel. You can relax for the rest of the night, or, if you’re still up for adventure, why not tack on an evening stroll and soak in your last night in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat? (Breakfast)

Highlights

Fragonard Perfume Factory

This iconic perfume brand originated in the South of France and opened its doors in Èze in 1968. During your guided visit to the Fragonard Perfume Factory, you’ll learn all about the perfume’s production process in this factory and cosmetics laboratory overlooking the sea.

Olive Oil Tasting

In the South of France, the only thing better than a wine tasting may be an olive oil one. While visiting a traditional French farm, you’ll sample a variety of authentic olive oils, all locally produced. What better ambiance than a bucolic farm — and what better excuse to bite into a baguette than by swirling it into a bath of delicious oil?

Monaco

Less than 30 minutes from Nice, you’ll cross into another country — albeit a tiny one. Your expert guide will lead you from the South of France into the South of Europe and introduce you to France’s next-door neighbor. Explore this small country’s brazen, blaring beauty, and enjoy your continuation along the Mediterranean Sea.
