The setting – a very quiet B-level Manitoba–North Dakota border crossing – is certainly appropriate for this cross-border garden, which honors the peaceful relations between Canada and the US. In this no-man's-land (you have to go through customs and immigration of either country just to reach the site) there are some tranquil sunken gardens, an interpretative centre (10am-6pm), a memorial cairn and a bell tower.
