About Kelsy
I am a freelance writer specializing in travel, as well as LGBTQIA+ interests, arts and culture, cannabis, hotels, wine, gastronomy, and road trips. I served two terms as president of the New York Travel Writers Association, and I’m a longtime member of the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA). I’ve spoken as an LGBTQIA+ travel expert on panels including the NY Times Travel Show, Travel Gay Canada, and the PRSA Travel & Tourism Conference.
The adventure of travel hooked me at a young age, and I still find my greatest joys through world explorations. My life of travel has led me from hot-air ballooning over Myanmar’s temple city of Bagan, and Arctic dogsledding under the Northern Lights; to South Africa’s Cradle of Humankind caves, Moscow’s Red Square, and all 50 United States.
