About Janet
I am an award-winning writer, photographer and author whose wanderlust has taken me to 40 countries. Some of my favorite experiences include horseback riding with gauchos in Argentina, camping on the Great Wall and hiking the hills on the Amalfi Coast. Being outdoors is my thing.
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, I lived in Shanghai for three years before making my base in Central Arizona, then migrating back to the cooler climes of the Pacific Northwest. Although I miss the chaos of a mega city and exploring the diversity of the desert, there’s nothing quite like living near the Pacific Ocean, in a rainforest surrounded by mountains.
