About Elen
Elen Turner is a travel writer and editor based in New Zealand, and Nepal is her second home. After a stint in academia that took her on research trips throughout India, she packed up and moved to Nepal to work in the local media. A child and a pandemic later, she's now settled on the South Island, where she continues to write about travel in New Zealand, Nepal and further afield. She's co-authored two Lonely Planet guides to New Zealand: Experience New Zealand (2022) and the bluespine guide to New Zealand (2023).
