About Aydan
I am a writer, creative, and self-described cultural adventurer based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I hail from the UK but have been a long-term resident of Thailand after graduating with a degree in Thai Language from SOAS, University of London. I first worked as a local journalist for six years before exploring a career in creative writing, travel journalism, and copywriting, finding any opportunity to share my passion for Thailand and Southeast Asia with others. Today, I take any opportunity I can to camp in national parks, take to wild mountain trails, and search for local village music and whisky-infused atmospheres across the region.
