I am a fourth-generation San Franciscan and award-winning travel journalist with work in Vogue, the Washington Post, National Geographic, and more. I help produce documentaries, help travel-related brands tell their stories, and I've authored several guidebooks to Iceland and Belize - which is where you can find me when I'm not at home in San Francisco or on the road. My travel is often inspired by finding a certain animal in the wild (especially birds), but I've been known to chase down a one-of-a-kind meal as well. I'm an adventure traveler with foodie inclinations!
