For blissful relaxation in an undiscovered bit of coastal South Wales you can’t do better than hide. Three yurts, each with kitchenette and bathroom, take glamping to the next level. Or stay in the shepherd hut or lodge for a rustic night away. Everything was built from scratch by convivial Tom and Paula, who go out of their way to welcome guests to their labour of love.
Pretty and historic Llantwit Major (where both St David and St Patrick preached) is a pleasant stroll away along the Wales Coast Path, the first national trail of its kind. Tom and Paula can pick guests up from the station there or from Bridgend.
