Kingston's newest hotel is a boutique affair in an old bank in the historic Stockade District. Ten rooms are done up in earthy burgundies and olives with hints of 1960s Americana. All come with mini Smeg refrigerators, classic marble bathrooms and Frette linens; some have small sitting couches as well.
Their appealing ground-floor restaurant serves up a seasonal New American menu (mains $16 to $39) courtesy of chef Zak Pelaccio, of Hudson's well-loved Fish & Game.
