Sit on the terrace on one of Appenzell’s prettiest squares or in the intricately carved wooden interior of this restaurant. The menu swings with the seasons and has Italian and Swiss influences, as simple as polenta with porcini mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes, wild-garlic risotto and spot-on schnitzel.
