Almudín

Valencia

The 15th-century Almudín originally served as the city’s granary, storing wheat brought in from the surrounding countryside. Writing high up on the interior walls indicates the level each year’s grain reached and where it was harvested. The lofty arched hall is now used for art exhibitions, though paintings often seem dwarfed by the building's grandeur.
