Restaurante dos Combatentes

No-nonsense, family-run option at one corner of the Jardim Municipal serving scabbardfish, espetada (barbecued beef on a skewer), lots of seafood and a couple of tasty vegetarian dishes. The simple dining room is adorned with a few antiques and rural-looking knick-knacks, but otherwise the focus is on honestly prepared local food.
