Doca do Cavacas

One of Funchal's best seafood restaurants is Doca do Cavacas, which juts out of the volcanic rock like an ocean-going liner. The semicircular glazed dining room provides 180-degree Atlantic vistas as you munch on some of its inhabitants. Below the restaurant are rock pools, sunbathing areas and a beach bar.
