This bar-restaurant attempts to recreate the shop-taverns of the early 20th century, once the community hubs across the island. Special focus here falls on Madeiran poncha (sugar-cane spirit drink), a more boozy drink than many non-Madeirans imagine – head there after midnight to see what we mean.
