Pemba Magic Lodge

Pemba

In business since 1998, Russel's Place is Pemba's nominal backpackers, located on the eastern extension of Wimbi Beach (called Nanhimbe) about 3.5km beyond Complexo Náutilus. It offers the full gamut of budget accommodation: campsites, rent-a-tents, a five-bed dorm and private bungalows made out of local materials (one of which sleeps six).

The bungalows (prices include laundry and breakfast) have air-con and hot showers. There’s also a bar-restaurant with a large menu including pizzas, and plenty of local info on offer from the lodge and other guests.
