Hostal Tres Central

Tuxtla's one and only hostel is actually one of the best in Mexico. A stylish Ikea-esque affair with comfortable beds in either four-person dorms or spacious private rooms (those with shared bathroom have a shower and sink in the room). The rooftop terrace views of the surrounding hills can't be beat. No kitchen facilities, though there is an on-site cafe-bar.
