Restaurant Jardines de Chiapa

Not too far from the main plaza, this large place is set around a garden patio with atmospheric brick arches. The long menu includes the tasty house special cochinito al horno (oven-baked pork). Be warned that it can get a bit hectic at lunchtime with tour groups pouring in for the buffet lunch (M$289). Alternatively, stick with the huge à la carte menu.
