Views extend across the valley to Fort Thüngen from the terrace of this lemon-yellow painted mansion with a succession of interior dining spaces including a lantern-filled, glass-roofed winter garden. The wildly experimental menu swings from salmon gravlax with fresh mango to beetroot and coconut risotto, and grilled chicken with honey-infused beer sauce. There is regular live acoustic music in summer.
On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, you also have the option of a 'dine-in-the-dark' experience in pitch-black surrounds (four-course menu €75, by reservation).
