Théâtre des Capucins

Luxembourg City

A former monastery dating from 1623, and later a garrison during the French Revolution, this historic building was first used as a theatre between 1869 and 1964, and has been again since 1985. Seating just 269 people, it presents mainly local theatre productions in French, German and Luxembourgish.

Summer film screenings take place in its courtyard.
