Opened in 1964 and renovated at the beginning of the 21st century, the Grand Théâtre is Luxembourg's major venue for opera, ballet and contemporary dance productions. The main theatre seats 943 people; the smaller studio theatre has a capacity of 400. It's 600m north of the city centre.
