In downtown Port-au-Prince, Café Terrasse is a long-standing haunt for embassy and NGO types, serving up large, fresh salads, custom omelets and hearty French fare. The eccentric owner has tastefully adorned the cafe with antique furnishings and old-timey art, and patio seating looks over Champs de Mars. Surprisingly cheap burgers and sandwiches are also available to go.
