Revamped in 2018 on the 200th anniversary of Marx' birth, the early-18th-century baroque town house in which the author of The Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital was born in 1818 now houses exhibits covering his life, work, allies and enemies, social democracy, his decades of exile in London, where he died in 1883, and his intellectual and political legacy.
