Halsetown Inn

Prime pub grub a mile from St Ives in tiny Halsetown. It's still the village boozer – local ales, first-name bar staff, cosy crannies to hunker down in – but the food is a notch above the norm thanks to the owners, who also run Blas Burgerworks. Expect posh mains such as chicken pithivier and cider-baked ham, plus a cracking Sunday roast.
