New Arafa Hotel

The not-so-new New Arafa Hotel is your best bet in Tanta. Get your no-expectations hat on and this place is fine for a night. The rooms are nothing special, but staff are nice and there is a decent bar and res­taurant on the premises. It's the tall pink building across the road, and to the right, from the train station.
