Dara Independence Beach Resort

Sihanoukville

Originally opened in 1963, this seven-storey hotel retains the jet-set feel of Sihanoukville’s movie-star heyday. Following years of neglect it was reopened in 2007 and features fresh, contemporary rooms, some with sea panoramas. It was a top option when Sihanoukville was a destination unto itself; these days it's more of a fancy option for a stopover before hitting the islands.
