The casual open-air Barra Bar & Bistro within Cooinda Lodge serves cafe-style cooking in a breezy open-sided dining room. It's not flash but servings are large and dishes include kangaroo fillet and crocodile, smoked and marinated. Or try the Kakadu platter, which takes in barra, croc, buffalo sausage and roo fillet, along with much-needed sweet potato wedges and salad.
