Cooinda Lodge & Campground

Kakadu National Park

This sprawling place has a good variety of accommodation options and is Kakadu's most popular resort – even with 380 campsites, facilities can get very stretched. The budget air-con units share campground facilities and are compact and comfy enough. The lodge rooms are spacious and more comfortable, sleeping up to four people. The swimming pool is large and lovely.

There's a grocery shop, tour desk, fuel pump and the excellent open-air Barra Bar & Bistro here too.

Ask about the 'Flash Camp @ Kakadu', a semimobile camp of tents set up out in the bush with all the comforts of a tented camp.
