Run by Jackalberry Safaris, Nkonzi is a bush camp within the national park that offers a wonderful (and relatively more affordable) wilderness experience; it's excellent value for those looking to spend a few days on safari. The seasonal site offers tented accommodation with double bed and attached open-air bathrooms constructed from reed material. Rates include activities led by experienced owner/guide Gavin Opie.
While most stay at this bush camp on three- to five-day safaris, you can also stay for the night, which is still reasonably priced (US$410) compared to other bush camps in the park; especially given all activities, food and drink are included.
