Celtic Royal Hotel

This grand old sandstone building, with its impressive entrance hall and wood-panelled corridors, was built by the Earl of Uxbridge in 1794, becoming a focus of local society in Georgian and Victorian times. It's hardly intimate, but it has all the advantages of a large hotel, including an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gym, restaurant and bar.
