Although they've been freshened up with some lively wallpaper, you couldn't really accuse the 14 bedrooms above this popular pub of being upmarket – the thin towels and older-style bathrooms swiftly dispel that idea. However, they're spacious, clean and offer some soothing rural views. You'll find the pub on the western edge of Llandeilo, near Dinefwr.
