Artisan Boutique Hotel

Hanoi

One of the best features of this joint Australian and Vietnamese coproduction a stone's throw from Hoan Kiem Lake is its on-the-ball staff: they're friendly and accommodating but not overbearing. Although some rooms could do with some love, all have great walk-in showers and tasteful design elements. The penthouse, if available, is a steal. A winner for location, service and price.
