Hotel Caracas Palace

This former Four Seasons lost much of its soul when the luxe Canadian chain pulled out of Caracas a few years ago – it’s now a massive piece of modernist architecture that feels somewhat Soviet in its eerie quietness. Located right across from the pleasant Plaza de Francia, its saving grace is a wonderful cascading split-level pool on an elevated deck.
