Oyster Island Restaurant & Resort

Espiritu Santo

The romantic resort on Oyster Island consists of a scattering of individual traditional-style bungalows (the best are waterfront) and supremely comfortable units. With only 32 beds, there's a feel of exclusivity but also a welcoming, down-to-earth family vibe. A host of tours are offered, including the exclusive Mt Hope Waterfall tour (5000VT).

Much of the produce used in the restaurant is sourced locally on the island – including the oysters. Call to order at least a few hours in advance for fresh oysters (1200VT for half a dozen). The Sunday lunch buffet (adult/child 2400/1200VT) is a legendary extravaganza.
