Hotel Shahrizada Khiva

Khiva

Popular with tour groups, the Shahrizada is a spacious hotel with high ceilings and fresh, clean rooms set around an oddly decorated dining room. There is lots of carved wood on display, including the memorable front door, which was hand-carved in the owner's workshop. Single rooms are a bit pokey.

The huge new Shahrizada Plus is scheduled to open in 2018 outside the city walls.
