Occupying the space of the former Degnan's Deli, off Village Dr, this thoroughly updated version mixes contemporary decor with deli-style sandwiches, a wide variety of salads, pizza, espresso drinks, fresh doughnuts and other baked goodies, and an emphasis on locally sourced produce and meats. Bottles of beer are shockingly cheap ($1 to $1.60); check the fridge for half-off sandwiches, salads and fruit bowls.
The open space ordering area and 'system' is a bit disorganised and on busy days can feel stressful, like trying to board a subway at rush hour.
