This adventure center rents out cabins in two classes. The more expensive 'chalet' cabins come better appointed with sitting rooms, fireplaces and kitchens, while simpler 'quaint' cabins are smaller with beds and coffee machines. There are also some rustic sites to pitch a tent or park an RV. Check the website for availability and to make a booking.
Bear Paw rents kayaks (per day $45) and can set up newbies with an instructor for full-day paddling lessons that include a trip on the Wolf River (per person $150). It also has an on-site pub where you can dry off, get warm and celebrate your accomplishments.
