Bukom Cafe

Washington, DC

Reggae and highlife bands take the stage nightly at Bukom. Be prepared for sore but happy hips as you join the mix of West African immigrants and ex–Peace Corps types who've earned their dancing chops on the continent. The music starts at 10pm (earlier weekdays); there's no cover charge. Come early and sample the chicken yassa and other West African fare.
