Berea College Visitor Center & Shoppe

Kentucky

All of the students at Berea College are part of a work-study program that includes traditional Appalachian craft-making. See their pine-bough brooms, cherrywood rolling pins, ceramic pie plates and other wares at this shop on College Square, along with craft-making demonstrations.

The students also run a smoothie bar on-site if you’re in need of blended kale-avocado goodness. Students also offer free campus tours that depart from the shop.
