Converted from one of Atlanta's most storied luxury hotels (Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead) in 2017, the Whitley is named for Atlanta trailblazer John Whitley, who reportedly killed a massive buck in 1840, nailed its head to a tree, and voila! Buckhead was born. Its 507 rooms start at a sizable 360 sq ft with residential-style mahogany flooring and skyline views.
It's part of Marriot's Luxury Collection.
