Athens' best craft beer emerges from 33 taps at this cutting-edge, dog-friendly former tire shop which excels at staples – Indian Pale Ales (IPAs), amber ales – but isn't afraid to play around with suds (tart blonde ale aged in wine barrels, mixed fermentation ale aged in bourbon barrels with blackberries). Local ingredients often form the backbone of the memorable brews.
There's live music most nights and free tours (hourly 6pm to 9pm). Start with one of Georgia's best IPAs (Tropicália) and then move on to a bevy of innovative pints. The no-sample policy, however, is mighty unorthodox.
