Starlight Theatre

Top choice in West Texas

You might expect a ghost town to be dead at night, but the Starlight Theatre keeps things lively. A movie theater that fell into roofless disrepair (hence the 'starlight') before becoming a restaurant, its menu, divided into ‘Previews’ (appetizers) and ‘Feature Presentations’ (mains), centers on steaks and wild game. Live music starts 6pm, most nights in spring and fall.

It’s not obvious when you walk in, but there’s bar seating in front of the stage. Look out for frequent appearances by West Texas favorite, Butch Hancock.
