To appreciate El Paso's longest-running hotel, little changed since outlaw John Dillinger slept in room 221 in the 1930s, you’ll need a sense of history. Some of its fan-cooled, period-furnished rooms share bathrooms, some are en suite, while four hostel-style dorm rooms hold four beds each. There are only two free parking spaces, and at weekends the noise can be horrendous.
