Rodeo Goat is located on an unpromising stretch of roadway on the outskirts of the Design District and, from the outside, looks like a low-key strip club. Stepping inside the Rodeo is a revelation, though. The smoky scent of sizzling burgers (oodles of varieties are on the menu) wafts from the open-air kitchen grill. There are craft brews and creative cocktails.
The large open-plan space is usually crowded with the after-work crowd – more of a party vibe on weekend nights – and it's a great spot for catching sports on TV. Outdoors, in back, there's a great space with picnic table and heat lamps.
