Chinati Hot Springs

West Texas

Want to relax in hot springs far – and we mean far – from the hustle and bustle of small-town life? (The nearest wi-fi is several miles down the road, so bring a good book.) Locals have long loved the isolation of the outdoor tubs, campsites and cabins at Chinati Hot Springs, on property once owned by artist Donald Judd himself.

Cabins have mini-fridges, and there's a community kitchen with two big refrigerators. From Marfa, it's about a 2¼-hour drive via US 67 south and FM 170 west. The pet fee is $20 per stay.
